How BIDS Alert™, Subscription by E-mail works
Identify the product or service categories for which you wish to receive information. As BIDS receives either tenders, tender notices, tender awards, addenda, or periodic up-dates that pertain to the selected categories, that information is sent to your e-mail address. In cases where the information sent is an actual tender form, it will include the tender number, BIDS activation number, and your name and address. Such documents are officially recognized as tender forms by the buying jurisdictions. In cases where tenders include attachments, only the tender form is automatically sent. Attachments must be separately ordered. There may be a charge for duplication and transportation costs.

Some of the opportunities you receive may be notices where complete tender documents, in some cases, may need to be obtained from other locations than BIDS.
With this 30-day trial subscription, you will receive opportunities from the public sector. If you are interested in oil and gas opportunities, you must be a full BIDS subscriber in order to be considered as a qualified bidder.
As a BIDS subscriber, you have the option of other types of subscriptions including BIDS Alert Email, BIDS Alert Fax, Magazine by Email, or Self-search registration.
As a BIDS subscriber, your subscription is customizable to your needs. For example, if you are not interested in opportunities in Western Canada (or any other specific geographic location or buying agency) you can exclude all those opportunities from your subscription.
